Need to update to credit card from debit: does it matter if that credit card has been used on my wife's amazon buyer account?

Hi,

My wife and I are starting a new business and just got our seller central account approved. However, I used a business debit card to sign up originally and SC is saying I need to update the card (I've read it needs to be a credit card)

We have a business credit card, but we have used it on my wife's Amazon buyer account to buy supplies for our business. Is it ok to still use that as the credit card for Seller Central (it's a business card in the name of our LLC) or will that somehow cause some problems as that card is already associated with another amazon (buyer) account?

Thanks!

Its hard to tell for sure but you may indeed be better off choosing another card. The last thing you want is to be deactivated over "multiple accounts" even if they aren't both selling.

You can have as many Buyer accounts as you like (we have at least 4, although some are not being used any more). As long as it's not linked to any other SELLER account there should be no problem.

And even if you use a different credit card, Amazon is going to know that your accounts are at least loosely associated.
