How to get approval for brand registry
I am going round in ever decreasing circles with seller support. They keep telling me I can use my GS1 barcodes however I keep getting an error message when I try to list. They then tell me they have fixed it and now I can list, then I get a new error message.
This has been going on for three weeks. I am assuming brand registry is something to do with the problem. However, my brand isn’t on my product and I believe you cannot simply add a sticker to some picking with your product in it.
So how do you get brand registered without your brand permanently fixed to the product or packaging.?

I think you are mixing brand approval up with brand registery
Brand approval is basically getting permission to sell a brand name - which usually requires photos of the packaging to prove that you are in fact selling a proper brand and not just putting a sticker with your brand name onto a generic item so you don’t have to sell it as generic.
Brand registry is applying for the right on Amazon to control YOUR trade registered brand name and all listings associated with it made by you or anyone else.

What’s your error message? The reason I ask is as Dedez has already mentioned there is often some confusion over brand registry etc. BUT I have also come across issues where people are entering the wrong number from their GS1 account - there are the 13 digit codes and the 14 digits codes - so thought I would just add this to the answers as a ‘just in case’ message.
