Return Request after 3 months

Hi All,
I sold a new watch through Vendor Fulfilled. This was delivered on 14 Dec 2019.
Last night (29 March) the purchaser says that they want to return the watch for a refund after 3.5 months and probably wear.
Surely this cannot be right.
What should I do?
(Recently I have had a spate of beauty products purchased through FBA that have been returned used - I a struggling with these losses).

The important question, is why do they want to return it?
For pretty much anything other than a change of mind, your not going to be able to refuse it.

So presumably they are returning it as faulty (a watch strap really should last more than 3.5 months). As such I feel the return request is valid.

Thank you both for your answers.
Yes a strap should last more than 3 months. However there is wear and tear and you don’t know what people have done to the item to damage it.
I have leather strapped watches that are +10 years.
In the first monthI would agree, but 3 and a half months!

Hi all me again!
So the watch arrived back, in a really poor state.
It has been well worn in the 3 months and the damage has been caused by having the crown undone under water.
Looking at the Amazon Return page it states “OUT OF POLICY”
What does OUT OF POLICY Mean?
Thank you
Jules

I have just found out that I didn’t need to have the watch sent back as it is out of Policy.
I feel stupid that I have accepted the watch back to look at it, now I will just send it back.
