Barcode for porduct

Hi,

I am wondering, if my product does not have a EAN/UPC barcode.

Is it reliable to buy it for example on Ebay?

And if I want to place only 1 product listing - 10 units, should I have only 1 barcode for this listing or 10?

Sorry for stupid questions, I just understand nothing about the barcodes.

No it is not a good idea to buy a barcode off eBay, Amazon verifies them against the GS1 database.

Unless you sell your product in a retail store that needs an EAN barcode that the EPOS system can understand there is no need to have a barcode. You can apply for a GTIN exemption and just use an Amazon barcode for your fulfilled by Amazon stock if you use it.
