Read onlyHi everyone,
I'm currently selling a product as a package, and only one item in the package requires an SDS. However, Amazon is rejecting the SDS because the name on the SDS doesn’t match the name of the overall product listing. Has anyone else faced this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
That is correct. We've had a similar one. A company (decent sized brand) makes a portable printer and uses a HP ink cart. There is NO reference to HP on the listing, or the images or anything. But the company supplied the HP SDS. Amazon rejected it, and I can understand why - for all amazon know, I've supplied a completely random SDS.
Now, for you, it might be possible to argue the point that the product is X in the image or its referenced in the listing, but its still possible amazon will reject it.
In theory, the multi item package is its own SDS with its own brand and should probably have its own SDS. Though I think amazon sellers tendancy to build bundles is butting heads with all these new SDS policies.
Hey there @Seller_jwgbSIDKpaAjF,
Did you manage to appeal against the decision?
