Hello Fellow Sellers,
I'm reaching out to the community for guidance and support regarding a recent account deactivation issue. Amazon deactivated my seller account due to failing the business establishment verification process, despite being a non-UK establishment that pays taxes on time with no issues from HMRC.
As an international seller operating outside of the UK, I understand the challenges in providing certain locale-specific documentation. However, I have been a responsible and compliant seller, adhering to Amazon's policies and guidelines, and consistently paying all applicable taxes.
I have already appealed to the Seller Performance Team, highlighting my legitimate business operations, tax compliance, and willingness to provide any additional documentation required to verify my legitimacy. However, I have yet to receive a favorable response.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or experiences from fellow sellers who have faced similar situations involving account deactivation for non-UK or international businesses. Have any of you successfully managed to reinstate your accounts under such circumstances?
Specifically, I'm seeking guidance on the following:
1. What additional documentation or evidence did you provide to Amazon to prove your business's legitimacy and tax compliance?
2. Did you engage any third-party services or legal assistance in your appeal process? If so, could you recommend any reputable resources?
3. How long did the appeal and reinstatement process take in your case?
4. Are there any specific Amazon policies or guidelines I should reference in my appeal to strengthen my case?
Any insights, tips, or strategies from those who have navigated similar challenges would be invaluable. I remain committed to resolving this issue amicably and continuing to serve Amazon customers as a responsible international seller.
Thank you in advance for your support and guidance. I look forward to learning from your experiences.
Best regards,
