Private labelling big brands
Hi everyone! I’ve come across a ‘brand’ who are basically creating listings of big branded items under their own ‘brand’. When other sellers join the listing, of these common big brand items, they send out IP complaints accusing them of parallel imports etc. Surely something like this can’t allowed as they are not the actual brand owner of the products. ASIN for reference is B08SKC3RT9.
Is there a way to let Amazon know about this so these false IP complaints can be withdrawn and the listing corrected? Even the EAN number matches.
Seller support was not willing to apply any common sense and kept to their script that the brand owner has made an IP complaint etc.
How do we approach this?

The EAN on this product is 5060612446820 which is a shop UK online barcodes and I assume they own the brand SUOL as well. So you shouldn’t be listing against this product. You should be listing against the correct EAN
When you search by the actual EAN on the product does it point to this product. This can happen sometimes when the correct EAN is merged with someone else’s EAN. If this is the case you may be able to fight it through Amazon and get the listing corrected.
The actual practice of someone using their own brand to list branded products and then issue IP complaints is something that happens a lot and you won’t get any help from Amazon if you list against this and get an IP complaints.
