T24 and T24 (LBT)

Can someone tell me the difference when dispatching an item - between the two drop down options: RM Tracked 24 and RM Tracked 24 (LBT)?

As usual, the forum search is beyond useless. I've not sent T24 with a signature before (only Signed For), so wasn't sure what one to select when dispatching.

Cheers

From researching it looks like LBT seems to be for letter box tracked. Ie, parcels that can be delivered through the letter box and are thin enough.

If a parcel then choose the RM Tracked 24 option.

LBT is 'letter box' so same dimensions as large letters, but an added 250g so up to 1kg. I think it is exclusive to 'Tracked' (so not CRL etc)

LBT is letter boxable size

Standard = Maximum size 61cm x 46cm x 46cm = Parcels – maximum weight is 30kg

LBT = Maximum size 35cm x 23cm x 2.5cm = Letter Box – maximum weight is 1kg

On my account LBT is also cheaper ,so worth checking

But must be under 2.5 cm high ...Else you get a surcharge

Its slightly confusing, RM do Large Letters (up to 750g) and parcels (up to 30kg)

However if a "parcel" is above 750g but still 2.5cm thick or less, they have a "Parcel LBT" (Letterbox-able parcel).

Its basically a middle ground, same dimensions as a Large letter, but between 750g and 1000g.
