Listing same product/design but different logo/brand

A new seller with not much knowledge in need of help…

Hello everyone,

I listed a product by following all the listing procedure but, I received a complaint from the main owner who claimed that I listed a counterfeit product.

Actually, the product I listed has nothing to do with the main owners brand…my products don’t have her Brand or logo … I just listed the same product/design…now my listing is blocked …

How do I list a product without having to use someone’s else same information like name of the product and such…I tried to change the name to my shop name but I couldn’t… It’s not counterfeit at all…help please

She is correct, unless you item matches EXACTLY, including logo and branding, you should not list on her item. You would be wise to remove it immediately before she reports it to Amazon which could result in your account being suspended.

If there isn’t a totally unbranded version then you will need to create your own. To do this you will need to register with GS1 to get your own barcode/EAN to list under.

I didn’t realise it was FBA.

If they have been flagged as counterfeit then the bad news is that Amazon will probably not return them to you.

Hopefully one of the more knowledgable people will be along later, I know the basics but, unfortunately, this is a bit beyond me!

Not too clear exactly what happened, but if it is just that the other seller has complained direct to you, then yes close the listing and do a removal order.

Now I see the listing is blocked, have you had any contact from Amazon? Can you copy it here?

This issue aside, you have made a few posts now which demonstrate you are doing things too quickly without the knowledge behind you to support your efforts. Please take some time to go through Seller University and learn how to work with Amazon’s systems and rules. You are in danger of making another mistake which Amazon may not let you come back from.

How many of them do you have there? Could you ask Amazon if they would reinstate your account if they were to destroy them?

Just thinking that I can’t see the other lady trying to help you out when you are her direct competition.
