Contirbution SKU not showing correctly on inventory?

Prior to recent updates we were able to enter a ‘Seller SKU’ when creating a new item which would show under the ‘SKU’ column on the ‘manage inventory’ page. Now there seem to be a number of product categories which use ‘Contribution SKU’ instead, but what is entered in that field does not show up on the ‘manage inventory page’ - there’s just an Amazon created SKU.

Can I clarify if this is working as intended, and if there are any steps we can take to make sure our SKU is what’s showing on the ‘manage inventory’ page? It’s very inconvenient not be able to see our SKU.
