Read onlyAmazon has sent me a message asking me to add heavy carton warning labels to all cartons sent to their warehouse over 15kg. My question is, do we need to attach the labels? or can we simply print out the cartons with "Heavy Package" warning? That would be easier/cheaper for us.
If a label is required, does Amazon provide specific labels? Or can it be any label as long as it says "Heavy Package"? I haven't seen any option to print the labels through "send to Amazon".
We just print 'Heavy carton over 15kg' in bold on white paper in 2cm strips and tape on each side and top - they are happy with this.
printed cartons are fine, although make sure it's on the top and all 4 sides
Do you need to apply Heavy package stickers on all 4 sides and the top of the box even when sending in boxes on multiple pallets not just small parcel delivery?
We used to just write with sharpie HEAVY PACKAGE etc on the sides when we first started. Now we use print the label, like the one from the first post. I would probably recommend using the actual label.
