Amazon orders and money questions

Hi Guys,

Trying to work out why the money we made does not seem to match the amount amazon is showing?

So question one, at the top where it shows Today’s money and you can change this to range upto 30 days, is this total amount of sales +amazon fee taken off or is the amazon fee to be taken off that amount? (i believe 15%)

question two, is some of the money hidden for some reason till it gets approved and how long can the money be hidden as what it is saying we have made is not reflected in the transactions?

sorry to be a pain but amazon is annoying with these things but other than clicking the today sales is there a way of seeing total amount across all of the amazon sales i.e italy, german, spain other than having to click on each one to see a report of sales?

thanks in advance for any advice

If you click on payment and reports you will see the breakdown of the payments they’ve sent you which will show total sales - fees (15% + VAT if you’re not VAT registered) and yes they do hold a % of payments back in case of any refunds/returns.

HI,

Thanks for your posts.

On the statement view page of the payments section you will see an unavailable balance and a link for View Reason. When you click the link you will be brought to this page which will give you more details about the reserve on funds.
Basically the amount held will vary depending on the estimaed delivery date of the orders. This policy applies to all sellers that registered on Amazon after August 15th 2016.

I hope this helps.
Jessica

Might make it a bit easier if i break it down

ok so say i do 30 day sales at the top showing how much total over every store is £70,000

but when i add up all outstanding amounts including the ones being held like we said only shows 56.388 but even if it was £70,000 - 15% amazon fee should still be around £59.500 so not sure where the missing money is if that is easier to make sense of?

Thanks Devil, now would add up as we have had a lot of business buyers, so am i correct in my understanding that the top bar is total amount after amazon fee’s?
