Fbm auto-authorized refund
Hi,
Amazon auto-authorized return for accidental order reason. It’s been over a month that the buyer has not sent the order back. I have sent 3 x emails to the buyer but there is no response and amazon generated return label tracking has no progress/update since generated.
I have contacted the seller support but they are of no help except copying and pasting information from Amazon policies.
I have not issued the refund yet from Manage returns section but not sure if Amazon already refunded the buyer or my funds are on hold with Amazon.
Can someone advise please?

Ignore it and the return request will drop off your dashboard eventually

There is nothing for you to do here. Probably the buyer decided not to return when they realised they would have to pay for the return.
The return will stay on your dashboard for ever, but unless the buyer returns it there is nothing for you to do. Don’t chase the buyer about it.

If the buyer has not sent the order back then you do not refund, and do not keep messaging them any more, they have maybe decided to keep the item, as they would have been responsible for the cost of the return shipping deducted from their refund. You will also not be charged for the unused shipping label if it has not been scanned.
The manage returns widget will stay there for 50 days (?), I think it is and then should disappear.
