Advice needed - Potential fraudulent buyer, new to amazon
I have a buyer who has already purchased a screen from us to a forwarding company who are notorious for being involved in fraudulent transactions.
(Buyer name removed)
Aramex UK, Galleymead Rd Colnbrook
LOS (buyer reference removed)
Slough
SL3 0EN
United Kingdom
The buyer is based in Nigeria and appears to work in IT but his website hasn’t been renewed since 2019. I have messaged him asking to confirm details but nothing back as yet.
Here are some links to reviews about the forwarding company involved on Google…
“Clearly content to facilitate fraud. Stolen goods get shipped out abroad, being going on for months and no sign they’re trying to stop it”
“BEWARE! These guys are part of an online ebay scam. Scammer pretend to buy stuff off ebay and give this address as the delivery address.”
“My daughter has been scammed off this company through gumtree absolutely disgracefull police are now involed”
Yell is also the same…

“If you sell online and someone asks you to sent to this company, don’t bother, it’s probably a scam, they use it to have items forwarded onto them and then once they know its in the system, they cancel the order and claim it hasn’t been delivered and get a refund, by then its too late and its already on the way to them and you have no way of getting it back, the company know they are doing this, look at the other reviews but not much has been done about it”
“Ebay and Paypal scammers use this dump for their nasty activities, stay away, well away!”
When I contact support and ask what I should do they just say I need to worry about the metrics if I cancel which seems a little harsh.
Opinions and guidance? I am new and don’t want to end up banned for bad metrics just because I saw a scammer coming down the road.
Thanks in advance.

Aramex House is a mail and freight forwarding company, used by folk overseas who need a UK address to have their item shipped to. Aramex take care of forwarding it on, presumably international packaging, customs and so on. I can’t imagine it’s a cheap service …
In the experience of the vast majority of Amazon Marketplace sellers, Aramex House is NOT notorious for fraud / scams / etc.
I have sold over 20 items over the years that have gone through there, from 5 pound DVDs and video games the buyer obviously wanted badly enough to spend presumably way more than that getting it sent onwards to the Middle East.
I appreciate Nigeria is often a red flag, but to date I have never had a single issue with anything shipped to Aramex House and would have no hesitation with any future orders with them as the address. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but there are no real issues with them on the forums.

Thanks for the response. Although Nigeria orders can raise an eyebrow it was more the warnings from ebay sellers and reviews. I think Amarax just appear to be a bit unreliable so I’m sending.
Not loving the way Amazon aren’t interested to investigate card detail matches etc. That would really be a big help and has been in years gone by on e-commerce websites I have run.
