Amazon Barcode not scanning at Evri drop off shop

bought postage through amazon recommended Evri 2 times, I have been to 6 different Evri drop off shops, scanner giving the same error message, parcel not available for delivery, when I go on Evri website and input the tracking number I get a message saying, we are expecting your parcel in one of our drop off shops, when it didnt work first time, I changed the post to next day delivery paying the premium price, again had the same issue,
contacted Amazon was told to provide a screen shot of the error message, which I can’t as the error happens on everi scanning devices which I have no access to, I was told to contact Evri, went on evri website they have a chat boot which is off no help, and Evri customer service number is a premium number which will charge me £1 a minute, has to say this has to be the most frustrating experience ever!!!

I don’t use Evri either (and never will !), as the nearest drop off shop for me anyway is 16 miles away !! - so would be a 32 mile round trip.

This has been an ongoing issue now for a while - several forum posts and threads about it.
As far as I know, I think most folks have cancelled the Evri labels and used another carrier (presumably RM).

only one word for this DIABOLICAL!!!, I am not going to be on hold on a premium number, so I can speak to Evri customer services, I take it customer services is not a forte for many business now a days!!!

will be using another carrier, and will be reluctant to use Evri again, I have provided all the evidence to Amazon, don’t know how keen amazon will be to resolve this issue for other sellers!!!

This seems to be an on-going problem. Very frustrating - and yes, I too chose ‘drop off’ !!

OP the Evri number I phone is 0330 808 5456 and 0330 are including in my mobile contract so are you calling a different number if it’s premium rate? You need to use a tracking number beginning with COOHAA to get past the automated system on this number but you just give Evri the actual tracking number once you speak to someone. I can give you one if you don’t have one.

Surely this is something that Amazon needs to sort out ? - as it is Amazon generated labels that are not being accepted.

I drop off daily (Evri) and have done for years and my parcels are scanned at the shop counter and not at the automated self service unit.
If you buy Evri through Parcel2go its cheaper that Amazon and you then have access to P2GO Customer live help chat etc and this usually sorts out any issues i have and you also get parcel protection and you dont get parcel protection when booking Evri through Amazon.

You have to open an account with Evri before you can use the ship option with Amazon - not that Amazon tell you this!!

Are you shipping SFP,

If not you can just buy Evri through Parcel2go instead. the labels will then scan ok
