Are you a Jersey or Guernsey based seller?
Hi does anybody use FBA based in Jersey or Guernsey? I contacted the local UPS agent who told me they only ship to individuals, not companies (something to do with VAT but it was not clear). I then called UPS to clarify this and they said it should be ok but were not that reassuring. However I am reluctant to start printing labels and incur the shipping costs from Amazon without knowing this service is available to those of us based in CI? Thanks

Hi,
As you are based in CI you are required to be registered for VAT in the UK before shipping any goods to a UK fulfilment centre. You will also require an EORI number as you will effectively be importing goods into the EU.
I would suggest consulting with an accountant to make sure that you have fully understood the VAT implications of storing goods in the UK (or any EU country) for fulfilment.
