Multiple listings for the same product
Hi
I am selling a DIY product, not my own Brand. I scanned the bar code, the product came upto list in SC and I listed it. After it had shipped and come online I discovered there was another listing for this exact product. The other listing has more traffic and sales, the listing I listed under seems much newer and has less exposure. I am correct in thinking the only way I can change this is to get my product shipped back to me, list it under the other listing and send it back in? How do you avoid this happening in the future, rather than just scanning the bar codes in with a scanner do you type in the product name to check there aren’t other better lsitings?

Does the other listing have the same barcode (EAN or whatever)? If it doesn’t, it’s a different product or a rogue duplicate listing. Either way, you were correct to list under the barcode that’s on the product

You can search for a product listed in the catalogue via ‘add a product’ or just search the EAN on Amazon.
See, that shouldn’t be the case, unless its a colour/size variation etc.
If I were you, I would list under the listing that you can see has the same product barcode, whichever one that is

As a new seller I assume you have a proper supply chain and brand authorisation for this if you get the 3 ASIN email?
