Fba saying I have 7,148.88 cubic feet in oversize storage!

Amazon are stating I have 7,148.88 cubic feet of oversize storage items, when in fact I don’t have any.
I’m worried we are going to be charged for this .
We only have 28 items in fba altogether and all are standard.
We woke this morning to see our 0 cubic feet had changed to 7,1488.88 cubic feet.
We have not sent in any new items for over two weeks.
Please help

And has your standard storage space dropped to zero or is that still showing the same as yesterday?

I would double check the inventory size and weight that Amazon has recorded. I’ve had inventory where the decimal point has moved 10cm -> 1m…

Is it not the standard size items have been incorrectly measured that’s put them into an oversize category? I’ve had something that was 10x10x5cm measured as 1m x 1m x 5cm so was classed as oversize. When it was cubiscanned the measurements were corrected so it became standard sized again.

I had this before, didn’t have to involve support, I just checked the product measurement for the product in question and noticed the error, then edited the measurement myself and it was sorted.

This happens to me every now and then. I then look at the Fee Preview column in Manage Inventory and the item where they are charging a very high FBA fee is the one that they have classed as oversize. I then either increase the price straight away (as you will be charged the fee being displayed) or close the item until sorted.

You can have a look at your storage fees report - it’ll tell you where all your storage space is being used. Go to Reports --> Fulfilled By Amazon --> Monthly Inventory History

For one reason or another I haven’t bothered stocking my FBA inventory this year and it has run down to zero. My IPI has dropped to 200 cubic and my actual physical stock holding in the FC’s is nowt.

However, I still get charged £0.18 each month for storage and have just noticed that my storage allowance now says 0.35 of 200.00 cubic feet not 0 of 200 as it used to.

I’ve opened a case based on this post so we shall see if / what sort of bonkers reply I get…
