Read onlyso my account has been suspended for months and got all my stock back but I’ve recently been hit with a huge return fee but I no longer have money in my business and all my cards are shut down? What do I do? It’s a LTD company and I can’t afford to pay the fees, any advice
Sorry to hear about your suspension but at least you got your goods back.
However, Amazon didn't send them back out of the goodness of their heart (they don't have one for a start). They sent them back to make money out of you and there ius nothing you can do about it. The costs for removal are "per unit" and they are clear although frequently overlooked by people looking at selling on Amazon with rose coloured spectacles.
Another good thing is that you are a LTD company so Amazon can't chase you for the money personally. They can and will chase for the money from your company so you should consult your accountant about this.
If the card doesn't work Amazon will try to get the funds from the bank account associated with the account.
I'm not 100% sure, doesn't Amazon's contract include a directors personal guarantee for Amazon costs and fees? I would assume it does but not sure where to look.
I would certainly hope not. Imagine if you are a multi-million pound company!
One would imagine that it would be illegal to hold the directors of a a limited company liable but this is Amazon. Nothing would surprise me. I don't think the letter of the law is something that concerns them.
