Long lead times

Hi fellow sellers.
Our products have long lead dates (3 weeks)
Have a look at this product:

It shows 15-16 June delivery

That is despite us having 2-3 days shipping setting and 1 day handling time
Additionally our handling capacity daily is 1 000 000 orders per day, and it is safe to say, we are not even close to that.

Any other ideas to why it is like that?

Point of note, when order sells it tells me correctly to deliver within 3 days which we do.

Other note, our ODR is less than 0.2 and we have 0 late shipments and cancellations

it’ll be amazon adding on time due to RM saying they are struggling in your area

yes, because we are also vendor for Amazon.
They however ran out of stock, so orders are now being passed to us.

i have opened 2 cases past few days over the same issue where customer delivery times on Amazon site for my inventory are showing June 13-14th !
i also use 2/3 days shipping option for delivery with processing time 1 day.
Amazon support say it is due to the Bank Holidays which it rediculous as orders posted today would arrive in couple days.

Do you have transit time set to ‘managed by Amazon’? An Amazon rep called us last week and advised us to move onto ‘managed by Amazon’. We noticed when using this new feature it pushed our delivery times out further so had to revert back to the default 2-3 days.

mines been like it for six days, amazon added 10 days onto my shipping template for no reason, my 2 day expedited shows the correct date, even when someone buys something the shipping date is correct but on all my products on the detail page its is displayed as 10 days extra.

ive lost buy box on all products i sell due to this

and gone from 30 to 50 sales a day to 1 or 2

contacted seller support 6 days and and the near on useless. all i get is there working on it.

they dont get the fact its ruining my business and having a massive reduction in income may kill our company off.

Good job for ebay hey.

We’re exactly the same. We ship same day or next day is after 1pm. We get good delivery speed feedback in the main.
People are still clicking on ads left right and center then abandoning.
We have other irons in the fire which been working on for years.
IMHO it’s not wise to make Azon a reliable ‘main source’ revenue stream atm.

Having the same problem. Its literally nuked our sales. Is there anything we can do about this?

I also tried changing the transit time, and creating a new shipping template (as recommended by seller support). It’s very strange. I have compared to other sellers selling similar items, and their dates are all fine (2-5 days ish).

We did put our account on holiday mode last week for a few days away. Could something like this have messed up our settings?

Thanks for the info guys, at least we can tick things off between us. They are so frustrating. We’re at about 50% each day on sales this week. Seller support are useless and frankly don’t seem any more clued up than we are. I had someone this afternoon tell me it was due to Covid restrictions?!

As usual, lets hope they sort this mess out asap before us little guys go under!

Out of interest, are you guys Prime sellers? I’m just FMB with no prime. It does feel like Amazon are giving us the squeeze to go SFP.
