FBA courier prices have more than doubled

Hi folks,

Was wondering if anyone could help me. I have been using the FBA option for over a year now, and from last Thursday my prices have doubled for every FBA shipment I send. Have contact Amazon numerous times and have been told to try it again, now they’re stating there is no error on the FBA side. So I contacted UPS as advised by Amazon and they have told me that their has been no price increase, certainly not by the amounts I was being quoted. Anyone any suggestions how I can proceed here. Have wrote an email to the managing director but no response as of yet.
Thank you

UPS FBA partnered prices are supposed to be 20% cheaper from today onwards

Costs have gone up in recent weeks and prices now seem to be banded by weight. The 20% cheaper may put it back to near where it was at the start of the year. As Amazon don’t actually publish the prices they charge no one really knows how much we should be paying.

If you can give some examples costs you are being charged and the weight of the boxes someone can tell you if this is about right.

Just wondering do Amazon allow you to tape boxes together to send over or would you have to source a bigger box to hold more units. Thanks

It seems that from 1th April, the FBA fees are higher.

Surely it is costing you over £350 to send 70 boxes separately compared to £159 for a pallet?

I also saw a mention of a discount this week but today our boxes of 22kg with UPS have doubled in price from our last shipment a week or so ago.

We’re having the same problem, currently messaging Amazon about it, got a basic reply referring me to the rates card they attached, but didn’t attach the card!
I’ve replied detailing the difference, ie on the 7th april we sent 21 boxes for under £60, yesterday we sent 18 boxes (less than before) and the price was just over £120!!

Sometimes its cheaper to send boxes over 14kg individually than grouping them together. Takes a bit more time to do obviously but can save a few quid.

I found if you use the New system to book the parcel in the price has doubled.

If you select to use the old system the price is the same as before.

I think it is something to do the the weight of each item on the new system.

I now always select to use the old system and tell Amazon the reason why when it asks why I don’t want to use the new system.
