I use a third party app to pull orders in from Amazon via its API to update my website stock.
For about a week now there has been a severe delay on the order status getting updated - so I can see orders in Amazon Seller Central but they are not appearing on my website. This leads to stock synchronisation issues.
My app developers are saying that the Amazon API cannot be updating the order status properly - it cannot pull in an order until order status goes to 'Completed payment'. They say there must be some delay between an order changing status in Seller Central and the API data.
Now if the delay was occasionally just for an hour or so I could live with it - but on one occasion it was 2 days before the app pulled in the Amazon orders.
I was just wandering if anyone else using the API is experiencing similar problem? If they are then yes it will be the API causing the issue. If not then it must be the app causing the issue.
