What type of card is it and from what account ?
If its prepay they are not accepted
If its a PSP there are currently only certain ones accepted

There are benefits to a business card then all your accounts are easier because they’re separate.

Have you opened a business account on amazon?

thanks for replying everyone but this is very confusing to me.Ive opened a business account with tide but amazon wont accept the card tide gave me so would it be ok for me to just put my normal credit card on that i have with capitol one for any charges or returns that occur and still use the tide account for any money coming in that hopefully im making.

There is a fix for this. You can use Airwallex for Amazon Payments, who are an aproved company.
From this, you can have a UK Pound, and other accounts, for example Euro.
You get a better exchange rate when converting money, and can withdraw to your tide account.

are you a limited company or sole trader ?- sole trader high street bank account will be easy enough to open in any bank - limited company you may find harder to open on high street - ive always found metro the easiest, you can walk in and walk out with the account open and bank card in your hand - it will take a few hours in there though as all checks are very in depth nowdays
