I have a LLC registered in the US and a brand as well under the LLC . I registered my account using the LLC details in the business address. I received an email from amazon stating i have to provide a utility bill for it. I did not have a utility bill for it because its a virtual LLC. So an Amazon support agent suggested changing the business address to my current one. which I did and provided a utility bill for it.
Amazon keeps on rejecting it. I provided them my bank statement, my passport, my id card, and the utility bill but it still didn't go through.
The amazon account 'Specialists' , keep on changing what the issue is. One mentioned utility bill for the business address, i provided it, it got rejected.
Another agent said its not about the utility bill, you have to explain how you have not violated section 3, i explained but still did not work.
The third one says its about the utility bill, you have to provide other utility bills.
The fourth said, you have 2 addresses (One was LLC and one was my current) mentioned in the business address tab, provide an explanation, which i did and got rejected as well.
The last one said provide an explanation on how you haven't violated section 3 (Similar as the second one), i said i already did that, he says "Sorry, then your account cannot be activated".
I provided amazon my passport, my id card, my bank account statements, utility bills listed on my name, my llc documents included the articles of organisation, tax & license document, my brand serial number (Registered in the US), each and everything i have on my name. Despite this, amazon refuses to activate my account.
I have spent thousands of dollars trying to set up my own Private Label brand (Registering my LLC, brand, patents, product manufacturing) the products will reach in a couple of days at a relatives warehouse in the US. I did not know amazon account activation could be such a nightmare.
Its the most mentally distressed i have been in a long time. This is my first PL brand and manufacturing and the entire initial set up wasn't so stressful as this.
Does anyone have any recommendations regarding where to contact for account activation? The support agents assigned to deal with the Amazon "call me" customers do not have the slightest idea of why an account is not being activated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
