Adding tracking after confirming dispatch

Hi

An order was delayed by distributor hence the question.

I have marked the items as dispatched but if I add tracking now would it hit any metrics.

If you originally confirmed dispatch without a tracking number, you would still lose in case of a potential INR A-Z claim.

I’m sorry, are you saying that you marked the item dispatched without it actually being dispatched? Delayed by distributor = the company drop-shipping for you?

Adding the tracking number AFTER you have marked as dispatched won’t affect your metrics in itself. However you won’t be protected from any INR case as you didn’t enter it at time of dispatch.

On a separate note I am unsure how you are not a dropshipper if you are selling items that you don’t keep in stock and are using a distributor to fulfill them? Dropshipper or not that is a risky business model.
