Changing account/close account when locked
Hi,
I have been selling on amazon for about a year and was going to begin to tranfer my account over to me son in June, however recently they have wanted all of this tax and business infomation. I have started to fill this in and submit it but some the whole process has already taken a month and could take more… Can I close the account and my son makes a new account or idealy transfer the account to my son and we start the verfication process again.
The account also has money locked away.

If your account is suspended due to changing info from individual to business account, then you can neither close it not transfer it in any way. It needs to be properly verified.
Your son can only open an account if he is not connected in any way with the current account including living at the same address
