Sell vinyl records - Restricted products
Hi,
Yesterday I opened a seller account at amazon europe and I was surprised to see I´m not able to list my products (brand new vinyl records).
Whatever product I search, using SKU or name, it says:
Your request to list this product is not approved. We are not accepting applications at this time.
Can any longtime seller tell me if this situation is ongoing or if in the future, amazon will let me sell this products?
Also, is this related to my account being an individual one? I opened this type of account to test the platform before upgrading to a professional account.

Well no one can predict what will happen in the future, but at the moment, and as far as anyone knows there are no plans to amend this, you cannot sell so there is nothing you can do with those titles on this site.

Amazon is all robot and androids, so you will get no sense.
I’m afraid you can forget it.
I don’t know if you have this stock as a legacy of something else, or you purchased it specifically to sell on Amazon, but I’d suggest trying to find somebody to go into business with who already has the approvals.
I am sitting on a loooooooot of stuff, which I have never got round to doing anything with, and that is stupid, because one day I’ll get the same message !
On some things, which I have sold in the past, if I try and list it again, I can’t. I can only by re-activating old listings. And some I deleted at the time to " clean up " my inventory, so I deleted the old listing and that, is that ! I should have realised about " approvals " and " grandfathering ".
