Read onlyAnother level of incompetence from Amazon: we booked a pallet on Monday 21st for collection Wednesday 23rd. By Monday afternoon (21st), before we had even finished stacking the pallet and it was in our warehouse, the shipment on Amazon was showing as "Receiving" and some of the items had been "checked in" as received by Amazon.
I phoned Amazon, they said they will pass this on the the relevant team, and of course we get an email back the the standard garbage "This pallet is still receiving so you can not open a case until they have finished checking it off".
How are they checking items into the warehouse? What pallet and whose pallet are they checking in under our name? When our pallet actually arrives a few days from now, will this cause issues as its showing they have already received the pallet?
I phoned Amazon again and of course I get the same nonsense reply that the pallet is being checked in and I can track the progress on our account.
How can one company be so incompetent?
