Account Suspended in UK and Europe as soon as it was created

Hello,

I am a new seller and have created my account early this month. I currently reside in the UK but I have used my company in Cyprus to register as a professional seller. I created the Cypriot company (my home country) for the purpose of selling on Amazon as I am intending to move back home in the near future.

As soon as I created the Seller Account I received this standard email "Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated. Your listings have been removed. Funds will not be transferred to you but will be held in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Please ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account. Why is this happening?
Your Amazon seller account has been deactivated in accordance with section 3 of Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement. This decision was made after reviewing both your account and the information provided. "

It is worth mentioning that all European countries are blocked except for the Americas.
I haven’t start selling anything yet I just created the account to see how it works before I order any products etc.

I have already appealed twice but I haven’t written a detailed Plan of Action. I have simply written a standard message providing the following but every time the response is generic and negative:

  1. company registration papers
    2)my passport
  2. a utility bill

Some people told me that my issue might be related to Tax. I am registered to pay Tax in the UK and have a UTR (Unique Tax Registration Number). Do you think I should write a plan of action detailing that I understand that my account has been suspended due to the fact I live in UK and company is in Cyprus and that I have consulted an accountant and that taxes will be declared properly?

I would really appreciate if anyone can offer any insight on this and thank you all in advance.

It may well be as your company is registered and trading outside of the UK. You need to supply a VAT number. You say that section 3’s solution agreement, but there should be a description of this?

This is basically Amazon’s version of specific :wink: As you mentioned, this is them saying they don’t like some element of the information provided at registration.
