Bought Royal Mail postage without tracking
Another silly error on my behalf and not sure what the resolution is.
I sent a parcel today and the postage I used didn’t have tracking. I asked at the post office how much it would be to sort and they said £11. I declined that offer.
Is there a resolution to this for me to confirm that shipment has been sent?

You do NOT have to send everything tracked - far too many sellers seem to think that is what VTR is all about - it is not.
It simply means that any items that you do send via a tracked method, that the tracking number is input correctly and valid in Amazon’s eyes.
If you sent it at PO and simply confirm shipment on your order page and choose Royal Mail in first drop-down and Stamps/Franking from the second.
It is really only worth sending items over £20 value via a tracked method, otherwise just send standard untracked.
Also, if you use the PO to buy your postage, be aware that for standard parcels using Amazon’s Buy Shipping is 20p cheaper than over the counter at the PO, and any you do send tracked are also cheaper than at the PO.
You have to ‘confirm shipment’ for all items sent, or you will not get paid for the item.
