Inventrou stock returned - Damaged jars

Hi

I called off some stock from Amazon as needed for samples to send to customers and the box with 10 jars came smashed and in a plastic bag. Most of the jars were broken or cracked and with damaged labels. 5 days of sending emails back to Amazon as they reimbursed me 1.75 per item

This is not even 1/3 of the item cost price. How did they come up with these calculations? What's your experience?

I am at a massive loss when I add the cost of posting back plus the damaged sock!

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

This is Imran, and I understand that you are concerned about the incorrect amount reimbursed to you in the RMS ID : 6211383822 and you want a breakdown of the calculation.

Unit Value with Tax: 14.99 GBP

Unit Tax: 0.00 GBP

Unit Value: 14.99 GBP

Unit Fees: 6.41 GBP

Net Amount (Value - Fees): 1.72 GBP

Thus, the reimbursement amount per unit is 1.72 GBP.

The reimbursement amount is determined in accordance with the FBA lost and damaged inventory reimbursement policy and related FBA Service Terms of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement.

is my math wrong ?
