Hello every one
I am new on Amazon so your help will be much appreciated. I have sold about 5 items on Amazon but recently i get this Alert every time i log in to my account it says’’ Alert! Your account is at risk of deactivation.A critical event has occurred with your account that has caused it to be at risk of deactivation’’ i have contacted Amazon and they suggest that it is due to a late delivery and my late delivery rate is Showing 25% ,given the number of sales i have had one late delivery cause alot of pain. I dont get any sales after this Alert message started appearing on my account home page . can any one suggest how i can fix this ? beside delivering the items on time which i tought i have always done , i have posted the item the next day when i get the sale.

Hi,
I’m by no means an expert however I faced a similar situation to you with late delivery rates. As well as posting your sold items promptly, you also need to mark the items as dispatched within the amazon portal. Otherwise Amazon will never know that you’ve actually posted the items.
Now that your late dispatch metrics are high you’re going to need to get that 25% below 0.04%
Personally I would say the simplest way would be to reduce the price of the item in question, which would hopefully drum up some business. Then get those items shipped out quickly and mark them as dispatched on Amazon. Painful I know to lose a bit of money, however its much less painful than getting your account de-activated and having to submit a plan of action to get it re-instated.
Best of luck.
PS…there are some amazingly knowledgeable contributors on these forums and I’m sure they will chip in shortly.

your account is unlikely to be deacrivated for 1 late delivery however you do need to bring that odr down quickly and cable canyon has given excellent advice basically an increase in sales to bring it down and this is what i would do personally reduce prices to bring in more sales however these sales must go smoothly as 1 more problem whilst your odr rate is this high could result in account deactivation the little shop has also given excellent advice prepare a poa just in case

Make sure you send out signed for or tracked. If it’s just recorded Amazon won’t pick it up as delivered
