Invoice being flagged as fake?
I purchased 100 units of product from a legit distributor and being told the system is flagged that the invoice has been edited and that’s why they aren’t accepting it.
I have everything to prove its legitimacy including picture of the products in hand. Their barcodes. I even told them to contact the distributor and the direct line for my sales rep and they didn’t even try to call.
ID:
17898955251
if i can get contacted via email i can prove my relationship to the distributor, their legitimacy and pictures of products in hand with barcods serial numbers ect.

What are you selling? Your relationship has to be with the manufacturer/brand.

Hello @Seller_CXVzC27CKFPdu
Thanks for posting here. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories and in some instances restrictions and policies change. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction. These requirements may change in the future, and you can check which selling restrictions are applicable to your product by searching for it in 'Add a Product'. If we are accepting applications, you will see the Apply to sell option next to the product search results.
I would recommend monitoring the Categories and products that require approval and Overview of categories pages to check if the requirements for your category changes in the future.
Regards,
- Manny

Hello @Seller_CXVzC27CKFPdu,
Apologies for my misunderstanding. You are providing an invoice for a selling application which has to do with brand and category restrictions. According to the details in case 17898955251, the provided documentation cannot be accepted due to potential document alterations identified in the verification process. To validate product legitimacy, submit authentic and unaltered documents.
The following document may help provide more clarification as to what may be required for your invoice submission:
Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements
Listed below are the requirements for sourcing documentation request:
- Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured
- These documents:
- Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
- Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
- Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents
- Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.
- You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible to enable adequate review of the documents you provide. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN(s) under review.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
- Manny

I hear you!!
it's probably the A.I. thing they've been doing..
I'm in the middle of a nightmare myself because the Seller Support pulls out the "there's nothing we can do"

Ask your supplier to send you a copy of the invoice. also ask for a letter of authorization. Amazon has probably already decided you are out. Good luck
