Changing the color on a child variant

Hi,

I have a listing that has color variants. I’d like to change the name of one of these colors but Amazon has a warning underneath that text box under manage listings saying “Editing variation theme keys is potentially dangerous. Please edit with caution.”. Does anyone have any experience with changing variation theme keys and did you run into any issues with it?
