Read onlyCan I opt out of accepting Business orders, because of separate invoice requirements
No you cannot. An order is an order in Amazon's view. You can get Amazon to do all the invoicing for you. Whilst I am not VAT registered, I have Amazon provide a receipt for all business orders.
Why would you ? As above reply, if you are not VAT registered then you can get Amazon to automatically send receipts to all purchases from Business customers. You just need to declare your VAT exempt status. Go to settings (cog wheel) - Tax settings. I have done it and never have to send a receipt (not invoice if not VAT registered).
Hello @Seller_zQYEhPptUDHAN,
as the other sellers mentioned already, you are not able to opt out of receiving orders from business customers.
As per Help page on Invoice Defect Rate you could use the service provided by Amazon to send receipts for these orders:
"As per Amazon Business invoicing policy, if you are not legally required to issue an invoice , you must provide a receipt for each order from an Amazon Business customer. You can do this manually on the Manage Orders page or via your solution provider.
Selling Partners exempt from VAT registration in both the EU and the UK can let Amazon issue receipts on their behalf at no cost by declaring their VAT exemption."
Best Regards,
Emma
