Action required: Your Amazon seller listings have been deactivated
I have been informed of this today. I sell used books. The ASIN that Amazon tells me is the issue is not in my active inventory! I’ve taken a screenshot of Amazon also telling me it’s not in my inventory.
'Why is this happening?
We have observed that the brand name used for these listings have been used to sell a significant number of products that infringed on the intellectual property of others. We have therefore decided, in accordance with the Category, Product and Content Restrictions policy and section 17 of Amazon’s Business Solution Agreement, to prohibit the sale of this brand on Amazon."
What are they taking about? It’s an old book that I don’t even have in my inventory yet Account Health shows my account is at risk!

I also sell used books.
I got the same email listing 3 books.
2 of these I sold some years ago so no longer active.
One was Macmillan, the other Routledge.
The other one was Allison & Busby.

I had the exact same email, 3 days ago on 09/09/21, for one of my ASINs. It says that “We have deactivated the listings shown at the bottom of this email.”, but the ASIN is not deactivated and has been selling fine despite this email. I did not get any alerts in my seller account and neither can I see any IP Violations under my account performance dashboard.
Did you guys find a reason for why this is happening? I am worried if I take no action it might cause account suspension but the question is what action should I take if the ASIN is not even deactivated and live on amazon
