Amazon changed description without letting me know

I have just sold an item via Amazon. Since I advertised the item, the description has been changed to include an additional item that I do not stock. Do I now need to cancel the order and why do Amazon not notify me when a change is made to the description.

I totally agree. It would be so easy to send a message to everyone with that item in their inventory.

It would reduce so many problems.

Incidentally it is against Amazon policy to offer a free additional item on a listing. However they won’t do anything about it.

I have just taken delivery of an item I planned to sell and now the listing has changed to include a free pen. I have reported it to Amazon but seller support just don’t/won’t understand.
