Read onlyDear Amazon Community,
I am heartbroken and overwhelmed. Since October 1st, 2024, my account has been deactivated due to counterfeit authenticity issues for an item I NEVER SOLD or SHIPPED. Despite explaining this in every appeal and asking for a review of my records, I continue to receive the same generic responses. The day I was notified of the deactivation, I was in the hospital giving birth to my baby. After being discharged on October 4th, 2024 I immediately spoke with an account health advisor and submitted my appeal, but now, two months later, I’m still stuck in the same frustrating cycle with no resolution.
Caring for my newborn while dealing with this issue has been incredibly difficult. Every time I speak to a new advisor, I have to explain my situation from the beginning. Then, when I submit an appeal based on their instructions, after waiting seven days, I only receive another copy-paste response. The constant stress and financial hardship are taking a toll on both my health and my baby’s well-being. Please, I am desperate for help. This situation is causing so much pain, and I’m finding it harder and harder to keep repeating myself.
Regards,
NAZ

did you have the item listed at any point?
I am facing the same problem with my account being linked to VCYCLE which has affected over 40 account suspensions. No-one is looking seriously at this. I think the problem is that support is oversees and they are depending heavily on AI and BOT systems that are creating this error.I have appealed a number of times and I think they do not know how to navigate the system to resolve the error. Rather than ask for help they appear to be repeating the same messages. This is what appears to be the issue. I am looking for details for the external regulator to undertake an investigation. I am going to start with the consumer watchdog and see if they can signpost me to the watchdog
Hi NAZ,
Have you tried emailing managingdirector@amazon.co.uk?
Hope that's a help
Brian
PS I don't know, but think that even just listing a verboten item is a problem...
Just listing an item is sufficient for Amazon to request proof of authenticity from you as they expect you to have it in stock. If you listed it but don’t have proper invoices to prove authenticity then you can’t proceed.
Have they offered you an appeal opportunity - perhaps post the deactivation notice here.
Congrats on your new baby but I’m afraid Amazon won’t care about any sort of health issues so just concentrate on any plan of action possibility if you have one
Mods won’t get involved with proof of authenticity issues either.
I have just written to Amazon UK (new Case), in English and clearly a Bot reply in Gerrman! (Bot's have names on Amazon, so do not think a person, as a name).
100% proof a Bot and the Amazon system cannot even reply in English, it has replied to me in Chinese several times as well with other Cases, they keep replying, then block the Case, Amazon just want you to give up, it is utterly useless usually, I ask my Cat, it tends to get a better reply than SS.
So, basically do not expect them to fix anything, it is best to accept that, at least then you can move on and sell elsewhere
