Shipping time issue on Amazon
Hi,
We have our shipping template settings as 2-3 days transit with 2 days handling time, so 5 working days from order to delivery. Yet on Amazon for the past week this is now showing on all our products front end on Amazon to customers as 13-15 working days to delivery? Amazon cant give me an answer in support apart from saying ym shipping settings are correct and it might be a bug on Amazon, but its all our products and we are losing thousands of revenue due to this,
Any ideas?

Update: On orders we are receiving it shows the delivery date window as correct but the front end of Amazon is showing wrong? Surely this is an Amazon BUG? As on the actual order its correct.

Amazon apply arbitrary extensions to estimated delivery dates based on a whole raft of metrics. No one really knows exactly what or why.

Do you have the Automate Shipping Settings on? I’ve been reading about this feature that basically makes your shipping estimates more accurate based on real time courier performances. Something like that anyway.

Also had the same issue. We dispatch immediately until our cut off time - and therefore expect the front end to say ‘PRIME - GET IT TOMORROW’ but it now says ‘PRIME - GET IT IN 2 DAYS’. What to do?

Remember there’s a bank holiday next week so times often get extended for that after issues with previous ones

We have also noticed the same problem for at least the last few days. In some cases this has lost us the buy box as it looks like our estimated delivery times are much longer than our competitors. It is obviously a bug but it does not seem to be affecting everyone, yet.

We’ve had this plaguing our listings for the last 4-5 weeks now - all SS have been able to tell us “it’s due to delays because of covid”.

To see a more national picture, you can sign up to RM email notifications. This tells you which parts of the country are experiencing delays and why.
You might be surprised just how many depots are still having issues to isolations, even though they are exempt.

Yes I have a 99% delivery rate - SFP. We use the Amazon Shipper & sometimes RM if we really have to
However- some of our listings are also being affected by the wrong delivery time information & Amazon stated the same issue with a possible bug

We use DPD Next Day delivery so definitely don’t deserve to be given a 2 week delivery time on the front end. Our SFP prime account is currently suspended too from incorrect data from 4 weeks ago, I even sent Amazon the screenshots to show they were wrong and that we were above the 95% buy shipping rate that week and then even did an action plan but 2 weeks later and the case is still pending amazon action but that’s a whole other issue to the migrated template!
