Fake / False Brand Infringement - Poor Seller and Account Health Support
We are writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding repeated false/fake IP infringement complaints made against our account within the last 5-6 months.
In both cases, the so-called "Rights Owner" has misused Amazon’s IP complaint system by providing trademark numbers and brand names that are entirely unrelated to the ASIN or product in question. The wordmark mentioned in the complaint does not match the brand name filed on the trademark registration, which raises serious doubts about the authenticity and legitimacy of the complaint.
Despite this clear discrepancy, the complainant has been able to bypass the system and file a takedown, causing unjust harm to our business and listings. We are surprised that Amazon’s IP verification process is allowing such mismatched filings to pass through.
To add to the frustration, Seller Support and Health Teams have been unable to assist meaningfully. We are consistently receiving generic, copy-pasted responses without any investigation into the details of the trademark mismatch or an escalation to the legal teams.
We respectfully request the following:
1. Immediate review of the past IP claims received by our account.
2. Verification of the trademark numbers used in the complaint vs. the actual registered wordmark.
3. Action against the complainant if found guilty of misuse of the IP reporting tool.
4. Restoration of any wrongfully removed ASINs and removal of the associated policy violations from our account health dashboard.
5. An update on what corrective steps Amazon is taking to prevent such misuse of the platform in the future.
We are fully compliant with Amazon’s Intellectual Property policies and conduct our business with the utmost transparency and integrity. However, such unjustified takedowns hurt genuine sellers and erode trust in the system.

Hello @Seller_swDLI0GDdJSLv,
This is Abella from Amazon to assist you.
We greatly appreciate you reaching out with your inquiry. Rest assured, we are committed to putting forth our utmost efforts to assist you with your query.
When a rights owner raises a trademark infringement complaint against your listing, and you believe it to be a false claim, it's essential to take immediate systematic action.
First and foremost, thoroughly review your listing on the buyer's portal for the specific ASIN in question. Carefully examine all components of your product detail page, including the title, bullet points, product images, and A+ content, to verify that you haven't inadvertently used any trademark-protected elements. This comprehensive review will help you confirm your position regarding the complaint.
If during this review you discover that you have indeed used someone's trademark, you have two options: either provide valid documentation proving your right to use the trademark, or remove the listing to comply with Amazon's policies.
However, if you're confident that the violation has been detected in error and your listing is completely compliant, you should proceed to dispute the complaint through the Account Health page.
When filing your dispute, be sure to include substantial evidence supporting your case, such as documentation proving the legitimacy of your listing and demonstrating that no trademark infringement has occurred. This systematic approach will help you address the false complaint professionally and protect your selling privileges on Amazon.
If you have further questions, kindly keep up posted, Seller forums community and I are here to support.
Regards,
Abella.
