GTIN Exemption does not work anymore

We use a have a GTIN exemption for a couple of brands we sell as they do not have ean codes from the manufacturer, until the update to the product listing wizard this was fine, now I can’t use the GTIN Exemption as I did before, using the unique MPC and then selecting UPC as a type.

We have 400+ listings that have been created like this and now each one of them has an issue like this when you edit the listing.

Is anyone else out there using a GTIN Exemption like this? and does it still work like before for listing a new product?

Any help would be much appreciated
TIA

Amazon is limiting GTIN exemption, most probably to stop sellers branding unbranded products.

I have GTIN exemption, though admittedly I last listed a few months ago.

I have never filled anything in on the product ID box always just left it blank.
