Is it acceptable to ship loose irregular shaped items like this?

Is it acceptable to send a box of 10 different SKUs to a fulfilment centre where each type of SKU is labelled but in a bag of ten ( similar to a case pack but in a plastic bag) so that they keep shape during shipment… rather than shipping a box of 10 different SKUs just dumped in a box?

If the barcode can be scanned through the bag you run the risk of the 10 units being sent out together

As sequin says, you run the risk of amazon treating them as 1 unit.

Just place them in the box loose and you should have no problems
