Order but no inventory

Hi all,
Hope you all are having a great time. I got a FBM order and i don’t have that item in stock.( it’s a mistake on my part as didn’t updated). Now I’m just wondering if i cancel this order from my end stating this reason. what are its effect on my metrics. My average orders are1-2 per day.

you are supposed to cancel it however, with such low orders, your cancellation rate will probably go over what is required

you are not supposed to but, you can mark as despatched (selecting stamps/franking) and then instantly refund - sending a quick apology to the buyer

this won’t affect your metrics
