Pallet Labelling FBA Shipment - How to Label

Hi,

I’m sending my first palletised shipment to FBA and wish to confirm if my labelling is correct.

I’m sending about 5 pallets 800mmx1000m, 7.6 CBM, from China to FBA UK, only 250 units of products in total.

Each product is in it’s own carton box , and carton is barcoded with ASIN/FNSKU. There is no master box, the carton boxes are simply loaded onto pallet.

I will then just FBA label each pallet, 4 sides, once it’s wrapped up.

Is this the norm?

And if what is the height restrictions/recommendation?

I cannot advise, but have you read the FBA section in Seller University ?

Hi,

We send pallet loads from the UK, into UK warehouses like this:

Each ASIN has an EAN Barcode
Each Box has a Box Label (usually 10 units per box)
Each Pallet has 4 labels

I note your individual units, we have done this also:

I select ‘individual units’ rather than case packed on the inbound summary
It asks me what size my ‘box’ is that all these units are in, i just put the dimensions of the pallet
It generates 1 label, but i print it 4 times and stick it to each side of the pallet.

I have never had any issues doing it this way. I would say though, the more labels you stick onto your units/pallets the better, it makes it quicker and easier for amazon.

As far as your dimensions, i would be careful that your pallet is a 100x120cm, heat treated pallet, as this is (from my experience) the only dimensions they accept for pallets in the UK. Height wise 180cm is the max.
I believe this is so that their pallet trucks and vehicles can move the pallets around.

Hope this helps!

OK, thank you everyone for your advise. I was going wrong.

The goods are already palleted and wrapped on plastic pallets. 100x120cm
Because it doesn’t meet the FBA requirements, the pallets will be sent as, and will be re-palleted to Grade B in UK before being sent to FBA centre.
