A switch of one of my products, seller support not helpful
Just wanted to see what the opinion on the forum is for this. Recently had a customer send back a small handheld vacuum cleaner, around 2 weeks from Order Date to Return / Refund request (item was sent FBA).
When I've received this item back it is CLEARLY the same model of item, but looks like it's well over 1 year old, the brush matted with hair, the brushes at the end of the vacuum nozzle bent out of shape etc, dust all over the charging cradle. No way is it the item that was sent out and blatantly a swap for a new one by the customer.
I've opened a case, sent pictures of all the damage / use but getting nowhere with Seller Support. I can appreciate an item if it's not working, or has been genuinely damaged that we take the hit, but this is out and out fraud.
Really annoying having to respond to cases and you get the exact same text back, so you know it's not even been checked properly, especially when I've had to take time attaching images only for the same cookie cutter replies back from seller support.

A well known scam - switcheroo !
Personally I would send the customer photos of the returned item, just to let them know that they have been caught out, but without insinuating anything ! Something like " Thank you for returning the item that you ordered from me, but it seems that you have packaged up your old one instead of the new one I sent out to you"..........etc.
