FBM Delivery Issues in Germany
Hi guys,
Just a quick question… Has anyone recently experienced any issues with orders sent to Germany by FBM. Germany once was one of the very few EU countries which we never needed to worry about things getting lost in the post.
However, since the IOSS was introduced last year, we have been having parcels returned to us every now and by German customs without a clear reason. It’s got worse since the start of the year.
Just wonder if we’re jut being unlucky or it’s become a common issue. Are there any recent changes that we’re not made aware of?

We did, and have stopped FBM to Germany.

we haven’t seen any significant issues in Germany we use RM API though, not click and drop, there was a few days in May where they were late/returned but fine otherwise
maybe it is something to do with the tariff codes?

yes the IOSS system is flawed and will probably be at least another year before it runs smoothly, I reckon you’ll see a lot of delays at Christmas, more than usual
this is why we’ve switched to FBA for everything except germany and france
