Customer trys it on again
Back in July 22we had a customer make a purchase of a running waist belt. They returned it but the returned item was trashed and was certainly more than the 2 week old item they received. We made the mistake of telling the customer that the returned item was not the one we shipped as it did not have our product identider on it, and retuned it to them.
They filed an A-Z claim and got the refund anyway, so we had lost the money for the sale and had returned the trashed item to them also.
They have now come back on again, March 4th 2023 trying it on again.
any advice

You mean wanting to refund another order?
If so, In this case now you are possibly safer.
You can’t refuse the return so ask them to open a return request, they’ll get a prepaid return label, will be refunded on first scan and then you open a safe t claim with amazon if the returned goods are not as expected.

Do you mean a subsequent order? If so cancel. When we have a customer who has returned an item in materially different condition/A-Z whatever, when a resolution has been reached we sent a message saying unfortunately due policy we would not be able to supply them in the future.
If they order again we simply re-state that message and cancel the order.
