UK VAT mandatory if we sell FBM? I got my account blocked
Hello,
On Saturday(4.04), we were suspended from our Amazon UK account because we are required to attach a document with a VAT number.
We just started selling goods from the Czech Republic to the UK and we sell only FBM. We made sales of just 350 pounds.
We created a case, but UK technical support is not responding to us.
Has anyone already encountered this? Please tell me what to do with this?
Thank you!

But you’ve had an Amazon account for a couple of years. Have you ever used FBA/PAN EU or stored stock in the UK in the past?

If i remember correctly, if you sell in the uk but aren’t uk citizen, you must register for vat immediately.

you need to be VAT register from day 1,when you are selling for out of UK,you need to be VAT register first

its the volume youre doing they can clearly see youll reach over 70k distance value within 12 months, would you not agree based on your monthly figures?? happened to me recently, got registered and got account reinstated, then got account deactivated again to update status from individual to sole trader or limted, so good luck

For those who will still visit this topic, view the first posts in this topic. The problem was that we chose the UK as the home market when registering a long time ago. Amazon moved our products to its warehouse at its own discretion, although we did not create FBA listings. After our goods got to the warehouse in the UK, he started demanding VAT from us, which is logical.
