Late shipment defect rate

On sale of book on Wednesday 12 Oct .I got into ‘‘I have sold a book mode’’ . I paid for tracking on royal mail and Iow and behold realised royal mail was on strike ! Amazon did when this strike started some weeks ago it would not show on Late Shipping Defect. On checking account health there it is 100% defect. Book was posted on Friday 14th Oct’ .

They haven’t made any official statement about ‘ignoring’ or rewriting late shipments
In fact they said the opposite - put on holiday settings or extend handling times
