French VAT number and losing selling privileges in FR market
Amazon has been notifying me and others that we need to provide our French VAT number and if we do not we may lose selling privileges on amazon.fr
We mainly sell in UK and sell nothing on amazon.fr. So we did not care about not selling on amazon.fr
However today amazon sent a slightly different email.
"Dear seller,
Please upload your French and all other European VAT numbers on Seller Central now to avoid account suspension…"
Anyone from Amazon have any insight if not providing a French VAT number will affect our amazon.co.uk selling privileges?

Did you get blocked on FR only or all platforms.?
Im in the process of registering in Fr but it takes ages and amazon keep emailing me .Im not particularly bothered if they ban me on FR but i wouldnt want a total ban.
Any other seller had experience of this and how it pans out.
